The illumination techniques used to create an LCD panel can be divided into three categories: transmissive LCD, reflective LCD, and transflective LCD. Transmissive LCD is the most common type of sunlight readable LCD panel, followed by reflective LCD and transflective sunlight readable LCD. The most common type of sunlight readable LCD panel is the transmissive LCD panel.

Transmissive LCD screens are the most widely used sunlight readableLCD screens when it comes to computer monitors and other electronic devices. A backlight is required as the light source and there is no reflective film on the back of the screen, which makes it the most affordable of the models available.

We can see the graphic and characters on the screen very clearly even when there is only a small amount of ambient light present. Transmissive LCD displays account for 90% of all LCD screens currently on the market, owing to the fact that it is a well-established and reasonably priced technological solution.

The fact that we will be outside, or that there will be a lot of outside light, means that we will not be able to see it clearly. It is completely reliant on the backlight panel for illumination, and the display effect does not meet our requirements because it is the only source of illumination. Furthermore, excessive staring at a screen while watching a movie or playing video games will cause our eyes to become sore and even weep, which is not good for our health in the long term.

They are the most affordable LCD screens available because they do not have a backlight and instead use light from the outside as their light source, such as sunlight or lamplight, and they have a reflective film on the back of them, as implied by their name.

Because it is highly visible when we are outside in the sun or when there is a lot of outside light shining on us, it is a good choice for outdoor activities. Similar to when we are reading a book or a magazine in natural light, we can look at it for an extended period of time without becoming tired of it or our eyes becoming fatigued by looking at it.

We are at a disadvantage due to the fact that we are unable to see anything due to a lack of outside light. Its ability to function is completely reliant on light sources that come from outside the building. The fact that it is typically only capable of displaying in black and white means that it is unable to meet our needs in the vast majority of situations.

Transflective LCD is the most expensive and highest-quality type of LCD screen currently available on the market. It is also the most difficult to manufacture. The presence of a semi-reflective film on the back of the LCD screen distinguishes it from other LCD screens in the same class of technology. The semi-reflective film prevents front light from passing through it, but backlight is permitted to pass through it without being blocked. Sunglasses are a good example of this type of item.

Both transmissive LCD and reflective sunlight readable LCD have advantages over traditional LCD technology, which is a significant advantage over traditional LCD technology. A reflective  allows us to see it very clearly in bright sunlight, but a transmissive LCD allows us to see it vividly in dim light or in a dark environment. However, the LED backlight panel can also supply light that can penetrate the semi-reflective film on the back of the screen, which we refer to as the reflective LCD. The reflective LCD is a term used to refer to the transflective LCD that is on the front of the screen that can reflect sunlight; however, the reflective LCD is a term used to refer to the semi-reflective film on the back of the screen that can reflect sunlight that is used to refer to the reflective .
